We understand how confusing it can be when you want to book a lash or brow treatment for the first time, but you're not quite sure which one to book. Well, we'd always suggest booking in for a consultation to start with, just so that we can ensure you're getting exactly what you want. LASHES

Lashes remain by far my most popular beauty treatment to date. The approach to eyelash extensions is very different here at The Lab Retreat, compared to most other beauty salons. No pair of eyes are the same, so in a nutshell we don’t give every client the same lash set.

We always consult you on your lifestyle and expectations from a full set of lashes. Then we look at the style you would like created i.e fox, cat, squirrel, doll, round or wispy eye. Then we look at fullness and length and then finally the curl shape.

Creating a full bespoke set of lashes depending on the style and the number of natural lashes that you have, can take anywhere from 2.5 – 3 hours and an infill can take up to 1.5 hours to complete.

We have also partnered with some of the very best lash suppliers in the business: Lashbase and Pink Fishes to ensure we can bring you beautiful, bespoke lashes that will undoubtedly keep you coming back for more. BROWS

As the legendary make up artist Kevin Aucoin once famously said “To me, the eyebrows are the most important part of the face. They are our most expressive feature, as well as the one that can be changed most drastically without cosmetic surgery. Tweezing the brow correctly can make the eyes seem much larger and can really open the entire face. Brows groomed to perfection is just KILLER!!!”.

He was right. Brows are so important, because they frame our entire face. And a pair of beautifully shaped brows is everything. Add in a bespoke colour to add natural depth and trust me when I say: this and this alone is all that is needed to truly make those eyes pop!!!

Here at The Lab Retreat our Brow treatment menu focuses on enhancing three main areas of the brow: Firstly the fullness of the brow, secondly the overall shape and then finally the colour. Choose from the following treatments to get the brows of your dreams:

CLASSIC LASHES

Classic eyelash extensions are natural-looking eyelash extensions. They are applied on a 1:1 ratio, which means one extension is attached to one natural lash. This style of lash creates a subtle and natural enhancement to the eyes. Classic lashes are perfect for those individuals who are looking to add length to their natural lashes with slight definition.

HYBRID LASHES

Hybrid Lashes are a mixture of Classic lashes and Russian Volume. This style of lashes is great if you are looking for classic lashes to extend the length but also you would like some added volume. Depending on the fullness sets range from a 50/50 mix of classic lashes and 3d fans. Or 20/80 mix 20% classic lashes with 80% 3d fans.

VOLUME LASHES

Volume eyelash extensions are a perfect option for ladies who are looking to add some length and real va va voom volume. Also known as Russian lashes, this style of lash set involves sets made with all fans incorporating 5 or more lashes per fan. At The Lab Retreat we offer volume sets from 5-20 lashes per fan. So, in a nutshell the fuller the fan the more volume to the overall lash set.

LVL & TINT

A treatment for men and women where the natural lashes are lengthened by being curled over a rod opening the eyes up. Thus creating lashes with more length, more volume and more lifted. This treatment can also include a tint colour and results can last anything from 6-8 weeks.

BROW LAMINATION

A treatment for men and women where the brow hairs are straightened to give a fuller, fluffier appearance. Brows are then shaped using a mapping technique to create the perfect shape for your face. Using warm wax and tweezering techniques the brows are shaped to perfection. Tint, Hybrid stain or henna colour, is then added to enhance the tone of your brow hairs.

THE HD BROW

A treatment which includes hair removal, tinting and finishing the brows using specialist makeup, tinted gels, finishing serums and conditioners, to create perfectly sculpted brows.
